As a further part of the outreach work of St Gerardine’s and St James’ Churches, Lossiemouth, Creative Visions Moray and Flood Film are working in partnership again this year.
Following the success of last year’s ‘Lossiemouth Northern Lights’ project, the young film team have started work on the film’s sequel.
Animation and film-making workshops have begun at the St. James ‘Creative Hub’.
The team had a wonderful day filming on the Pitgaveny Estate, recently. They heard about the history of the Estate from Dr John Barrett and present day farming from the Estate Farm Manager, Mr Martin Birse.
The team are very grateful to the Laird for his support of the project and for giving them permission to film on his Estate.
Your invitation to get involved
The people of Lossiemouth are invited to take part in this film, which is once again celebrating the community of Lossiemouth, past to present day.
Please contact yvonne@creativevisionsmoray.co.uk with any stories/photos you would like to see included in the film.
Yvonne is also working on a documentary about HMS Fulmar and would like people to contact her with any memories or photos of the camp in Lossie.
