Upcoming / Current

Christmas Carol Praise – On Sunday, 15 December 2024 at 2.30pm there will be a Service/Concert of Festive Praise, including the Lossie Singers. All are welcome and refreshments will be served afterwards in the Hall

Praise Group – Rehearsals usually take place at 7.00pm every Friday in the hall. The Praise Group leads Sunday morning worship. New members always welcome.

The Lossie Singers (Choir) –  The Choir meets in the Hall on Friday evenings at 7.30pm for about an hour. It is good fun and fellowship and a chance to learn some religious and non-religious songs in a relaxed and entirely non-judgemental atmosphere. If you are interested in coming along, contact us via the website or the church’s Facebook page. The Choir had successful visits to Donau Eschingen in Germany in October 2019  and November 2024.

Weekly or so
Mondays 2.30pm – Guild (More details here) – The Guild meets every second week.
Thursday 2pm (Every second Thursday) – “Open Door”, Church Hall.
Friday 2.00 – 4.00pm – Indoor Bowling in Church Hall. They have 2 bowling carpets. It is not a competitive group, they have fun and laughter, followed by a cup of tea and cake. They do have sets of bowls which can be loaned out, but would still be pleased for any donations to the group. If you are interested, please contact Vernon on 815553.
Fridays 7.00pm – Praise Group practice in Church Hall.

Joint Bible Study Group

In pre-Covid times, this normally met every Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Manse. More details in this short article.  All welcome. During Covid times and beyond, there has been a weekly Wednesday Zoom meeting led by our Minister, Rev. Geoff McKee. Again, all are welcome. The meetings generally follow the format of a Reflection, followed by a Bible study and then a time of prayer focusing especially on people known to us within our congregations and wider community. This a good time of fellowship, reflection and prayer. If you are interested in attending, please contact us via this website in the first place and our Minister, Geoff, will send you a Zoom link.
