Deferred Linkage Becomes A Reality

December 11, 2015 by 2

On Sunday 29 November 2015, Rev. Graham Crawford announced at the morning service that, on the following Sunday, he would be preaching as sole nominee for the vacant charge at a church in Perth (Scotland) and that, as a result, he and his family would be leaving St James’ and Lossiemouth with effect from February 2016.

We now know that Graham was voted in unanimously as the new Minister at Kinnoull Parish Church, Perth, on 06 December 2015.

We congratulate Graham on his success and commend his new congregation on their excellent choice of Minister.  We have been lucky to have Graham here with us for 12 years and we wish him, Jane, Thomas (not forgetting Jamie too!) all the best in their new home, church and surroundings. [Read more…]

Alpha and Omega

November 30, 2015 by 2

This is Rev. Graham Crawford’s sermon for “Christ the King” Sunday – 22 November 2015:

According to one writer:

“The Sunday of Christ the King is the day for all us disobedient ones to repent; and to renew our obedience. Then we may prepare for Christmas, and the birth of great David’s greater Son.”

It is a time for celebration, a time for rededication, a time to refocus ourselves on the important matters of life.

Never in history has that been more important than today. [Read more…]

Rev. Geoff McKee retires

October 5, 2025 By 2

Geoff McKee is retiring as Minister of Lossiemouth Church of Scotland.

His last day of ministry is 31 October 2025.

He conducted worship for the last time (as its minister) at Lossiemouth Church of Scotland on Sunday 28 September 2025.

There was a “thank you” concert held for Geoff and his wife, Annie, in the Church on Saturday 27 September 2025 at 2pm.

We wish Geoff and Annie a long, happy and healthy retirement. We will miss them terribly but we are grateful for the time we have had together and for their ministry and faithful service in Lossiemouth. Your retirement is well-earned!
