As highlighted in a previous post, the coffee morning in St James, which brought January to a close, meant that the Dryathlon ladies achieved fantastic success at the end of their month of abstinence.

They would like to  thank those who so generously donated online, contributed to the coffee morning on Saturday 31 January 2015 and who put up with “their grumpiness at nae being able tae enjoy an occasional glass of wine”.

The coffee morning raised an amazing £1.078.38 and online sponsorship was £350 – so an outstanding £1,438.38 will be sent to Cancer Research UK.

They described themselves as “overwhelmed” by the heart-warming support they received.
